INFORMATION FOR ORGANIZING
A SYMPOSIUM
Each Symposium is a discussion on
a specific topic with 5 presentations that cannot exceed
20 minutes, including 5 minutes for a Q&A session.
Each session is expected to be no longer than 90 -115
minutes.
Participants who wish to organize a symposium must submit
their request to the Scientific Committee, presenting
the title of the Symposium (strictly related to the
theme of the session) and a brief description (200 words).
The list of speakers and the coordinator must be specified.
If the coordinator is also a speaker a substitute must
be nominated.
The speakers in the symposium must be of at least two
different nationalities. Each presentation can have
multiple co-authors but only one can be a speaker.
In addition the organizer of the symposium must submit
information about the speakers, with the title and an
abstract for each presentation to the Scientific Committee.
The same procedures apply to those intending to organize
a workshop or round table.
The Organizing Committee of the Congress does not provide
any sort of sponsorship to either the organizers or
to the speakers of symposia, workshops or round table
